Q: How long do I have to wait to purchase a memorial?

A: There is no required amount of time. A memorial should be purchased solely when the family is ready to do it.

Q: . I’d like to purchase my memorial ahead of time. Is this done often or should I just wait and let my family take care of it?

A: In today’s times of hectic schedules and busy lifestyles, more and more people are taking care of as many details about their final resting place as they can ahead of time. “Preneed” monument sales are an increasing part of our business and we believe that the trend will continue.

Q: Are all granites alike?

A: No, they are not. There are many different variations of quality, color and absorption levels among granites.

Q: Can someone from your firm come to my home to make a memorial presentation?

A: Yes, we have someone available to meet with families in their home. One of our goals is to make it as convenient as possible for you to select a memorial. We have a complete “mobile” presentation kit, which includes granite samples and design books.

Q: What kind of foundation is placed under a memorial?

A: Each of our memorials is installed with a concrete foundation underneath of it. The depth varies depending on the size of the memorial; however, it is always a sufficient depth to discourage settling.

Q: After I purchase a memorial, how long does it take to complete its installation?

A: Installation times can vary depending on exactly what has been ordered. The average length of time for an in stock memorial is approximately 2 – 6 weeks. A special order memorial can take anywhere from 8 – 12 weeks.

Q: What determines the cost of a memorial?

A: Cost is determined by size, finish, shape and intricacy of design.
